Whew, talk about laundry day...

I spent today pre-washing loads of fabric. I unexpectedly had most of the day off because of the bad storm that blew through the Maryland/DC area yesterday, the building where I work was without electricity. I drove in to work to find out the good news...wish I had checked before I left my house. Oh well, not a problem I joyfully drove home...YA! (I felt like doing a happy dance) and got busy washing up most of the fabric I bought in NY last week and several other pieces from my stash that had never been done. Between loads, I also started planning how I was going to make up each piece. Here are all the pieces I pre-washed today, some of the pieces are as much as 6/yds long.

Now just a matter of picking patterns and getting some of this fabric sewed up. Stay tuned, more later...

Happy Sewing!

Wow, the part I hate most, washing fabric. Now you can get down to business!

Beautiful fabric; can't wait to see what you do with them!

Gorgeous bright fabric, is there anything nicer than a pre-washed stack of new fabric? I don't think so.
