Well I decided to work on my top some more to try and save it from the wadder pile. I think maybe I can make it look even better than the original. Here's a couple pics of the fix I had in mind.I plan to also put a black band around the bottom of the sleeves and the hem. I just have it pinned on for now...SO, now lets see if I can put this off for real.
More later!
Happy Sewing!!
Beautiful top...I love the fabric. I trust you can work it out......Have a great week
ReplyDeleteI like both of the fixes that you have in mind, especially the second.
ReplyDeleteThe fabric is very pretty and I like the idea of the black tie around the neckline.
ReplyDeleteYour creatives wires were sparking and allowed you to save your blouse... like the save ideas.
ReplyDeleteI love the 2nd option with the tie in the front! Very cute!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the black accents and think you should keep them!
ReplyDeleteI love the black accents, it makes a pretty statement!
ReplyDeleteIt's not an OOPs! It is an OOH-OOH-OOH-OOH-LA-LAAAA! Very clever fix!
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies! I guess I'm on the right track, LOL. I haven't gotten back to it yet but I hope to at least work on it this weekend. BTW, the first photo is the front and the second photo is the back, I thought a tie in the back was nice for a change. With my boobs I don't need anything extra in the front. But I thought putting the tie in the back was a cute touch.
ReplyDeleteNice save! I love the black accent as well. It's truly a keeper.
ReplyDeletei think it look great. good luck! :)
